Jarek Broussard Decision To Leaving Oregon For Michigan State

Jarek Broussard, one of the best running backs in the transfer portal, has declared his commitment to the Michigan State Spartans.

Many people believed that Broussard, the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2020 with the Colorado Buffaloes. He would be joining the Oregon Ducks this offseason after visiting them in Jan 2022.

Given that Mel Tucker, Broussard’s former coach at Colorado, is now the head coach of the Spartans, watching him transfer to MSU makes sense. But that disappointed Oregon supporters who were hopeful that Broussard would visit Eugene. Due to the departures of CJ Verdell and Travis Dye this summer, the Ducks need the RB position.

Although there is still a chance the Ducks may snag a top recruit in the 2022 class, it would be wise for them to look in the portal for someone to assist them in gaining some experience in the backfield for the upcoming season.
