Michelet Louis has been identified as the Tulsa mass shooter on Thursday, June 2, 2022. The 45-year-old man was responsible for killing four people before committing suicide at a medical complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Four people were killed in the Warren Clinic Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine on the second floor of the Natalie Medical Building. The victims of the shootings were Dr. Preston J. Phillips, Dr. Stephanie Husen, Amanda Green, and William Love.

Michelet “Michael” Louis, an African-American, has been confirmed as the shooter in Tulsa. He is a 45-year-old resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
According to Tulsa Police Chief, Louis was a patient at St. Francis Hospital. He had back surgery a month ago and was released from the medical facility on May 24.
Following the procedure, Louis repeatedly complained about his pain and requested more treatment. He was upset with the medical team and the management.
Before the shooting, the gunman had consulted his surgeon, Dr. Preston Phillips. He had bought the weapons three days ago from a pawn shop. As per his family members, Louis had left a note revealing his motive behind the shooting.
Michelet Louis House Was Checked For Possible Bomb Threat
Michelet Louis entered the medical building with a rifle on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He opened fire and later gunned down himself.
Officers were called to the Natalie Medical Building, a complex located near the Saint Francis Hospital, at around 5 pm the evening.
According to the officials, the shots the gunman had fired initially at the public. He killed three people before killing himself.
Louis had used two different weapons; a handgun and an AR-15 style rifle, during the killings. However, none of the victims have been identified. A video taken by an employee shows the immediate lockdown after the shooting.
Multiple sources have stated that the Tulsa police had investigated Louis’ house to search for a possible bomb. Although, no possible explosives or suspicious material were found. However, his house is still under investigation.

Michelet Louis had been living with his wife Edith Lubin and their children. If Google search results are true, his wife is a Family Medicine Specialist based in Muskogee.
The police have talked to Louis’ niece who said the Tulsa police called her family to tell them about the incident.
Upon hearing her uncle was a perpetrator she said: “We are so distraught, I don’t even want to be associated [with the news] because I’m so disgusted”
