More than a week after her abrupt death, she was put to rest by “Road Trip” actress Mia Amber Davis. Funeral services were conducted in New York on Thursday, May 19 for the late plus-sized model, told by her cousin Dr. Mignon R. Moore to E! The Press. News.
The model/actress, who used to work on the “Divorce Court” as a producer, rested at the historic Maple Grove cemetery of Kew Gardens in the Queens area. The Mia Amber Memorial Fund has been established by her family so that fans who want to honour her memory will submit gifts instead of flowers.
After completing a knee procedure to fix an old athletics accident, Mia passed away last Tuesday, May 10. Her husband, Michael Yard, was told that on Wednesday night, the 36-year-old was potentially dying from a blood clot. “Nothing has been confirmed but the coroner did tell us that he thinks Mia died from a blood clot related to the knee surgery,” Dr. Mignon, her cousin, told E!.
