Meredith Marakovits is best recognized as the New York Yankees’ clubhouse reporter for YES Network.

Meredith Marakovits was born on 22 July 1983 to Sara and Dan Marakovits and grew up in Walnutport. Meredith Marakovits has two older brothers and two nieces.

After finishing primary school, Meredith Marakovits moved to Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she attended the Central Catholic High School. Meredith Marakovits was also an excellent volleyball player during her schooling days and on matriculating from the Central Catholoc High School, sh won a sports scholarship provided by La Salle University, to subsequently play volleyball at the NCAA Division level I in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Meredith Marakovits graduated from the La Salle University in 2005 with a BA in marketing and communication.

After graduating from the university, Meredith Marakovits started hosting pre-game and post-game shows for several sports teams, including a baseball team from International League – Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Meredith Marakovits then went on to become a sideline reporter for Service Electric’s 2 Sports Division, for which she started sportscasting indoor football, college football as well as college basketball.

After moving to Philadelphia in 2010, Meredith Marakovits, The Fanatic/ESPN Radio offered her a position of a beat reporter for one of the Major League Baseball (MLB) teams, the Philadelphia Phillies and also began following  ‘Philadelphia 76ers’.

Meredith Marakovits quit both jobs in 2010 and began working for the YES Network where she has been reporting on the New York Yankees.
