After keeping the pregnancy a secret, Mel Buttle shared that she gave birth to a baby with partner Noran Abaza.
The 40-year-old revealed on Saturday that she and her partner of four years, Noran, had Harry, a son they had created through IVF. Harry, who is now seven weeks old, was delivered through C-section on September 13 at Ipswich Hospital.
Mel claims to be completely delighted with the newborn, and that parenthood has been overwhelming in the best possible manner. Last week, Mel made her first social media announcement about the birth by posting pictures of her kid with his face hidden.
The 40-year-old comedian admitted that she had been reluctant to share the news of her pregnancy to protect the privacy of her child. Currently, Buttle’s partner is away on maternity leave.
She claimed that Abaza has adopted the night shift with the infant and is enjoying the challenge of balancing comedy shows and shooting at the same time.
She also announced the news on Brisbane radio station KIIS 97.3FM’s morning show. Like the FM radio, they announced the news on their social media platforms as a “Huge Announcement.”
