Gannon began her career as an intern at NBC Sports Talk in Florida where she worked for 2years and 2 months. While working here, some of her duties were coordinating and conducting interviews with high school football coaches, writing weekly football articles for the radio’s website, and attending press conferences for the University of Florida football program. She also worked as a guest host reporter for ” The Mark McLeod and Tim Casey Show.”

In 2014 May, she joined WMBB News 13 as an intern in Panama City, Florida Area. She reported local stories for evening newscasts. She also wrote and edited VOSOTS for newscasts. She worked in both the news and sports department. She worked there for 4months. In 2013 August she joined WUFT-TV as a student Anchor and reporter.

She worked there for a year and 4 months. Her duties included pitching multiple stories, coordinating and conducting interviews, and also wrote VOSOTs and packages for evening newscasts. Aside from that she anchored Monday evening newscasts and anchored weekly health segments which she produced.

In June 2017, Gannon joined NBC 15 News as a Multimedia journalist in Alabama Area. She conducted multiple live shots for the 2-hour morning show. She also coordinated and hosted live interviews during the morning show. Gannon was responsible for filming and editing videos and writing scripts for daily newscasts.
