Gailey began her stand-up comedy at the age of 23, she performed her first stand-up comedy at Crackers in Indiana. She then played at Bloomington and Muncie before relocating to Chicago where she lived for five and a half years. She later relocated moved to New York City before moving to Los Angeles, California. She made her late-night television debut performing stand-up comedy on Conan on October 22, 2015.

She as well featured in the New Faces showcase at the 2015 Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. She then featured on Adam DeVine’s House Party on Comedy Central and was a cast member of the MTV show Ladylike. She was also was part of the 2015 New Faces show at the Just For Laughs Festival.
