Ronnie Radke Is The Lead Vocalist

Ronnie Radke born Ronald Joseph Radke is the frontman or the lead vocalist of the rock band Falling In Reverse.

He is the creator of the rock band. Before creating the band he was a member of Escape the Fate. He drew attention as the lead vocalist of his former band.

Radke discontinued as a member of Escape the Fate after getting sentenced for violating probation for possessing brass knuckles in 2006.

It was during his time behind bars when Radke came up with his new band, Falling in Reverse, in 2008. He wrote songs for the band when he was incarcerated.

The rock band didn’t make its formal announcement until Ronnie’s release in December 2010.

Ronnie Radke Age And Early Life

Radke was born as one of three children on December 15, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nevada in St. Rose Hospital.

The frontman had two siblings, brothers Anthony James Radke and Matthew Radke. One of two, Anthony, who was two years elder than Radke breathed his last in 2013.

Radke didn’t have a sound childhood as his mother abused drugs. She wasn’t present in the scenario of his childhood.

The absence of a mother figure led him to develop a general lack of respect toward women. That said, Radke forgave his mother later.

Ronnie showed his affinity for music at an early age. The lead vocalist formed bands during high school. He played piano and guitar.

He wasn’t into academics. Radke moved back in with his father and re-entered the school. However, Falling in Reverse’s lead vocalist dropped out of school as he couldn’t focus on his studies.

Radke is a father of one. The frontman welcomed a daughter, Willow Grace Radke, with model Crissy Henderson in 2013.

Radke’s Time In Escape the Fate

Ronnie and Max Green, one of the founders of Escape the Fate, were close friends.

It was Max who referred Radke to Bryan Money, the guitarist, who was in search of a vocalist. Shortly, they selected Robert Ortiz as a drummer after an audition.

Omar Espinosa joined the band a few weeks later after the recruitment of the drummer. Carson Allen, the keyboardist, joined the band when they started playing in Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, the band kicked Radke out after he was sentenced to two and half years for violating probation for possessing brass knuckles.

Blessthefall singer, Craig Mabbitt, replaced Ronnie in the band. Mabbitt and Radke had beef and started insulting each other in the media.

Nonetheless, the two bands co-headlined the ‘Bury the Hatchet’ tour signifying the end of their feud and hostilities in 2014.

Later in March 2018, Thompson suffered a shoulder injury and in April, he announced his departure from the band citing personal reasons.

Thompson rejoined the band after the demise of the original lineup, Derek Jones, in 2020.

He made up his mind that he isn’t just going to fill the void left by Derek but will have to give an extra effort to forge a name for himself.

Christian discovered that he has a 5-octave vocal range which led him to work on harmonies and as a lead vocalist of the band.

He stated that the band isn’t confined to a specific genre but has open doors for various genres including rap, grunge, club anthems, and more.

Christian considers Falling In Reverse’s latest album ‘Coming Home’ as the best album the band has dropped until this day.
