Alloysious Massaquoi Is A Composer
Young Fathers member Alloysious Massaquoi is a singer and composer.
Born in Liberia, Massaquoi moved to Edinburgh at age four, where he attended Boroughmuir High School. It was the same school Kayus Bankole joined while they were young. The two quickly become best of friends.
Living a low-key life is not a cakewalk for celebrities. Yet, paps and fans keep haunting them to get a glance at them for real. To be clear, the band is unconventional since all three members write, sing, and rap. The band members have been together for over 15 years now.
Alloysious and Kayus have been best friends since high school, whereas Graham is some of his friends of friends. He met Graham at under 16 hip-hop nights, and this way, they got to know each other well.
Per Guardian, all three band members compose, write, and sing.
Massaquoi is the tallest member of the band. He is a bit serious.
On Twitter, a user named Mikala wished Alloysious Massaquoi a Happy Birthday by sharing his photo on August 4, 2018.
Kayus Bankole Is A Hip-Hop Artist In The Vocals
Kayus is also the founding member of the band. Kayus is a Hip-Hop artist and like others, he is also in the vocals.
Born and raised in Edinburgh, Kayus was born to Nigerian parents.
Bankole spent years living in Maryland and Nigeria before moving back to the city during his teenage.
He joined Boroughmuir High School in Edinburgh, enrolling in the third year. It was the same school Alloysious attended. Kayus commented that Scotland should teach slavery history in schools to help overcome systemic racism.
Young Fathers team has no personal account on social media outlets. Still, the band has an official page on Instagram (41.5k followers with 22 posts only) and Facebook (79k adherents) under the band titled username “Youngs Fathers.”
Talking about Bankole’s personality, his dreadlocks, nose ring, and crinkly velvet voice is warm and welcoming. He speaks less than the others but quickly cracks jokes and laughs often.
Per Interview Magazine, the teams of Young Fathers are in their mid-thirties as of 2023 since their age in 2013 was 25.
Graham ‘G’ Hastings
Edinburgh native Graham Hastings is the third band member who compose music and work as a vocalist.
Hastings is open and professional and often takes the initiative in answering questions. He does his part thoughtfully, and he somehow emanates calm.
Among the two band members, Graham is the least described celeb in the media, as we did depth research to collect information about him. There is not much information about his birthday and family background. However, Graham has shown extraordinary talents in composing music and as a back vocalist.
