Kristaps Porzingis is a Latvian professional basketball player who now represents the Dallas Mavericks in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

With a 7 ft 3 in (2.21 m), he is one of the NBA’s tallest active players. He can play center as well as power forward.

At the time being, Kristaps Porzingis is considered straight. There has been no report or news about him being gay.

Porzingis tagged Vizla, also from Latvia, and added a red heart emoji to his caption. Meanwhile, Vizla made the relationship public on February 14th, Valentine’s Day.

She published two images of the couple sitting on a bed, dressed in black clothing, around the time.

Vizla was a cheerleader and dancer for the “VEF Riga” basketball team in the past. She studied music in a musical academy in Riga. Vizla also spent four years as a gymnast.

Although it has been stated that Porzingis and Vizla met in the summer of 2019, it is unknown when they first met.

Any detailed information concerning his girlfriend Vizla is unknown yet.

Kristaps Porzingis Comes From a Basketball-playing Family

Porzingis was born to parents who had been basketball players in their life. His father, Talis, was a semi-professional basketball player before becoming a bus driver.

Ingrida, his mother, was a member of the Latvian women’s young national basketball team. Similarly, Kristaps’ older brother, Janis, is also a professional player, and Martins, who is about fifteen years older than his younger sibling, was also an active player.

He is also reported to have another elder brother who died 14 months after being born.

Porzingis, too has followed the same path as his family and has become an NBL player.

He can shoot above most defenders due to his height and quickness, and his sheer stature and high volume create a unique advantage shared by no other player in the league.
