Originating from Manchester, England, George was born on  September 6, 1988. Prior to his singing career, he has played for the Preston North End F.C.. He was also a part of the boyband Avenue which joined but was later disqualified in the X Factor UK. Eventually, he joined The Wanted which won global success and has released two hit singles so far.

The Wanted is an English-Irish boy band composed of Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and of course, Max George. In October 2010, the band’s self-titled album was launched and it landed at #4 on UK Albums Chart. The group’s debut single titled “All Time Low” hit the #1 rank on the United Kingdom Singles Chart.
