Maura Higgins Weight Loss Journey Details

Maura Higgins has confessed that her ‘obsession’ with exercise resulted in severe weight loss and four months’ stoppage.

When her worried boyfriend Chris Taylor, 30, warned her it wasn’t good and they needed to “figure this out,” the 30-year-old Love Island star believed she had gone too far with her workout regime.

Maura realized she needed to act after her ‘mammy’ commented on her drastic weight loss, adding, “You’ve gotten too thin.”

Maura told the Daily Mail that she wanted to solve the problem as soon as possible because she wanted to have children in the future. Maura’s mother warned her that the amount of weight she had lost was ‘not good.’

According to her, she has now eased off on her diet and is “feeling so much better,” according to her.

Maura, dating Chris for a year, acknowledged that approaching 30 has made her feel more broody.

Excessive or rapid weight loss, according to the NHS, can cause your periods to cease. The generation of hormones required for ovulation is stopped when you severely restrict your calorie intake.
