Matisse Thybulle Sister Chloe Thybulle and Family

Chloe Thybulle works as a recruiting agent at Insight Global since October 2022.

Chloe’s proficiency in customer relations, employee management, and team building is deeply rooted in her vast experience as the Assistant Manager of Pomchies LLC, a family-owned retail company. 

Her responsibilities included liaising with wholesale clients on customized orders, rendering customer service, and ensuring the timely fulfillment of retail orders.

Additionally, Chloe boasts a background in environmental science, laboratory testing, and data analysis.

Per her LinkedIn page, she can conduct comprehensive research and communicate her findings effectively, having honed these skills while working as a laboratory technician at Ninyo and Moore. 

Here, she collaborated with colleagues on daily assignments and long-term projects.

Chloe’s commitment to delivering quality work through innovative solutions and creative problem-solving is unwavering. She is dedicated and driven, passionate about achieving her goals.

Chloe Thybulle Is The Eldest Child

Age-wise, Chloe is two years younger than Matisse. Chloe is 23 years old, born on April 2, 1999. 

Likewise, the youngest Thybulle graduated from Skyline High School and later enrolled at the University of Arizona with a major in environmental science. 

During her junior year at the University of Arizona, Chloe participated in a research program focused on learning, specifically aligning coursework with desired learning outcomes.

In this program, Chloe analyzed student responses and generated detailed reports to assist professors in improving their pedagogy. 

Matisse Thybulle parents are Greg Thybulle and Elizabeth Thybulle. The couple raised two kids in Scottsdale Arizona. 

When Thybulle was just two years old, his family relocated to Sydney, Australia, where they lived for approximately seven years. 

During their stay in Australia, the Thybulle family resided in the North Shore area of Sydney, and Matisse and Chloe attended the North Sydney Demonstration School for elementary education. 

In 2005, the family returned to the United States and settled in Sammamish, Washington, a suburb east of Seattle.

Upon crossing the stage at Barclays Center and receiving his NBA draft selection from the commissioner, Matisse Thybulle’s initial thoughts centered on his late mother. 

The Thybulle family notes that they are composed of two contrasting pairs – Chloe and Greg, who possess outgoing and lively dispositions fueled by a sense of humor. 

Matisse and his mother, however, are the other pair – both exhibiting more reserved personalities and acting as caregivers, capable of undertaking more than others may have anticipated.

Mom Elizabeth Thybulle 

Thybulle’s mom, Elizabeth was a naturopathic doctor. Elizabeth was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia

Elizabeth received a bone marrow transplant with stem cells from her sibling, Amy Sehrer. Following the transplant, she entered remission in early 2015, near the conclusion of Thybulle’s senior season.

However, certain forms of cancer may necessitate ongoing chemotherapy treatments to eradicate all leukemia cells and attain a long-term remission or possible cure.

In Elizabeth’s case, her oncologists prescribed an additional round of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, this weakened her immune system, and she subsequently contracted an infection that resulted in a fever and required hospitalization.

Tragically, Elizabeth fell into a coma and passed away on February 2 at 50, as per the Philadelphia inquirer. 

On the anniversary of her untimely passing, Matisse pays tribute to his beloved mother by visiting the cancer ward at the hospital where Elizabeth received her treatment.

In the same Eastside Catholic gymnasium where Elizabeth’s memorial service had been held, Matisse played a game of basketball on the evening of the commemoration. He scored an impressive 31 points.

Matisse often experiences a strong sense that his mother is with him whenever he plays basketball.

Dad Greg Thybulle

Matisse dad Greg was born in Haiti and is an engineer by profession. He spent his formative years growing up in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City.

During Matisse’s basketball games, his father often stood in the corner of the gym holding a camera mounted on a monopod to film the action. 

Furthermore, in 2010, a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, the birthplace of Greg. At that time, Elizabeth selflessly offered her services to assist the Haitian people in their time of need. 

Matisse Thybulle cousin brother Sidney Thybulle enrolls at Johns Hopkins University. 

Errol Thybulle, Sidney’s father, is the older sibling of Greg, Matisse’s father. The families regularly gathered twice a year, during summer vacations and Thanksgiving.

During these family reunions, cousins Matisse and Sidney Thybulle often engaged in playful competitions such as hide-and-seek and Nerf battles.

However, as Matisse focused on basketball during his sophomore year in high school, he could no longer attend family reunions.

Matisse did not see Sidney, and younger sibling Grace, a sophomore forward on Yale’s basketball team, until Sidney’s high school graduation in Irvington, New York, in 2019. 

By then, Sidney, who stands at 6-foot-8 and weighs 245 pounds, towered over his cousin Matisse, who is 6-foot-5 and weighs 201 pounds.

Matisse Thybulle girlfriend Talsa Harr graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2020. 

The inferences about Matisse and Talsa’s relationship began to swirl after the Trail Blazers guard left a comment on Talsa’s Instagram post.

The post features him spending his off-season with Talsa at Playa Azul, a Mexican restaurant, in August 2021. 

The image also shows Matisse clutching a coconut tree and enjoying their time together at the beach. 

Matisse wrote below the picture about the photos that weren’t posted, like the ones where they rode their bikes on the freeway, lied to the Mexican police, and spent 1,000 pesos on a wooden giraffe. 

On the other hand, in Talsa’s recent Insta post where she was playing basketball donning a Jez V jersey, Matisse left a teary eye emoji and love emoji, to which Talsa responded, saying, “I miss you.”
