Maryland Terrence Woods Family: Parents Terrence Sr And Valerie Woods

Terrence Woods family is still seeking answers about their disappeared son in early October 2018 who went missing while filming a TV show. Get insights on the case.

While filming the Gold Rush franchise for Discovery in the abandoned mines of Idaho County, ID, a young TV producer unexpectedly disappears.

It sounds like a narrative that might fit in This American Life. There is absolutely no information concerning Terrence Woods’ whereabouts, even over four years later.

Instead, his absence has left a grieving family, a perplexed sheriff, and questions for a successful UK production firm that Discovery eventually co-owned.

It is certainly hard for a family not to know about their beloved family member, more so when you don’t even know whether he is alive or dead.

As not even the dead body of the missing person has been found for over four years, and there is also no news of him being safe and away, the family seeks answers everywhere.

Dig deeper into this article to find out more about the case. Also meet the missing producer’s parents and family.

Terrence Woods Family: Ethnicity And Origin

Terrence Woods originated from Maryland, US. He was born to his parents between 1991 and 1992, making him 26 years old at the time of his disappearance in 2018.

The TV producer never mentioned his ethnicity, but many believe that Terrence was of mixed ethnicity.

Besides, the Woods family is believed to be following the Christian faith, but again, the family has not revealed their religion to the media or the public.

He has an older sister named Sharnia Tisdale, who helped the TV producer through every ups and downs in his life. She also grew up alongside her brother in Maryland.

The successful TV producer inexplicably vanished in the woods of Idaho, leaving his family and friends with only questions.

As a result, Terrence’s father mentioned that all they could do was pray for his son’s safety and have faith that he would return home one day in an interview.

Deadline claims that on October 5, 2018, Woods, 27, disappeared in Idaho County, Idaho, while working on the Gold Rush franchise for Discovery.

Filming a spinoff for Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine in the abandoned gold mine Penman Mine was part of the shoot. The area was encircled by rough terrain.

Although the case has remained unsolved for nearly five years now, many people in the television production industry have turned to social media platforms to demand that Raw TV put more effort into uncovering the truth.

Raw is the production company for the show that is also owned by Discovery.

Meet Terrence Woods Parents, Terrence Sr and Valerie Woods

Terrence Woods Sr and Valerie Woods are the parents of Terrence Woods Jr., popularly known as Terrence Woods. The TV producer grew up with his parents in Maryland, US.

There is only a little information about Woods’ parents available for public disclosure as they only got media attention after their son disappeared without a trace.

So, the professional life of Terrence Sr and Valerie Woods is a mystery as of now. Social media has re-ignited media interest in Terrence Woods’ parents as they seek answers yet again.

Back in 2020, Woods’s parents accused the Raw of abusing their son and openly questioned whether or not they honestly reported the occurrence of his abduction.

However, Discovery refuted claims that Woods had been mistreated and listed the several ways it had assisted with the investigation and search and rescue operations.

Woods told his father he would be coming home from the shoot weeks early on the day he vanished. He chose to leave this thread without giving a reason, though.

Despite Valerie Woods having told him she wouldn’t require surgery for a problem they had previously addressed, he reportedly told Raw TV that he would be visiting his mother because of worries about her health.
