He played in Major League Baseball for 23 seasons as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, and California Angels. Sutton also broadcasted golf and worked as a pre and post-game analyst for NBC’s coverage of the 1983 and 1987 American League Championship Series. Sutton has in past served as a color commentator for NBC’s coverage of the 1979 National League Championship Series.
