The authorities finally announced her name on Tuesday afternoon. The road where the accident occurred was sealed off for forensic examination on Tuesday morning.

Twomey recently passed her driving test again, which is why she was able to drive even at an old age.

The cause of Peggy’s death was a car accident. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident last night.

The post mortem was done at the Limerick University Hospital, reports GalwayBeo.
