More recently known as a soap star, she is also notable for appearing in the TV series “Dukes of Hazzard”. She has appeared in “The Young and the Restless” since 2012. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Catherine Bach, also known as Catherine Bachman, began performing when she was a child. Her first professional role was in a production of “The Sound of Music”. She made her film debut in the early 70s, as the murdered subject of the film, “The Midnight Man”. She auditioned to play Daisy Duke in “The Dukes of Hazzard” with some trepidation, as the character description was “a Dolly Parton look-a-like”. She won the part.
