Martha Stewart Daughter Alexis Stewart Talks About Her Relationship

Once television host Alexis Stewart was married to a certified lawyer on 26th September 1997 at the age of 32  with John R Cuti. It was a grand marriage whose wedding lunch was held at Jean Georges on Central Park West. Many businesses and TV personalities attended their marriage ceremony.

Alexis and Cuti met at an event, they fell for each other. They dated for 2 years and got married for 7 years. They were in a secret relationship for a long time. 

At first, they were happily living their married life. They used to attend different events together holding each other’s hands. Martha Stewart also use to talk about her daughter and son-in-law’s relationship in different interviews. It was smooth at first but didn’t last long. Alexis and John started having issues, they lived separately for 1 year. They got separated in 2003 later in 2004 they legally divorced.

Alexis and Cuit tried to convince each other to continue their married life but they couldn’t and eventually, they mutually got separated. During their married period, they tried for babies but unfortunately due to Alexis’ infertility issues they couldn’t.

Their reason for separation was due to their busy lives as both were focused only on their careers. They hardly use to spend quality time together. They never talked about their relationship openly in the media. Both of them were private about their life. 

 Alexis considers John a mature and good partner though their marriage didn’t work healthily. They are now just good friends. 

Alexis Stewart says that she is enjoying her peaceful single life and focusing on growing her business to a broad extent.

Alexis had bitter experiences in her marriage and love life. As her marriage didn’t work out she kept herself busy with her own work and remained single. 

After the divorce from Cuti, Alexis became a mother for the first time with a girl child via surrogate. She is now a mother of two children Jude Stewart and Truman Stewart.  She is now keeping herself busy with her kids.     

As per our sources, she has no plans for hookups, dating, or marriage. She is now focused on her business and not willing to have any kind of relationship. In some of her interviews, she even says she wants to spend the rest of her life as being a single mother. 

 As of 2022, Alexis is possibly single.

Apart from host, she is also known as an author and blogger. She has published her book titled ”Whateverland: Learning to live here”. The book is co-authored by Jennifer Koppelman Hutt. She is the owner of the Bridgehampton Motel property and East Hampton Gym.
