Married At First Sight Expert Dr Pia Holec Partner Is Equally Famous As A Sports Anchor

Dr Pia Holec husband to be Jason Goff is a sports commentator for NBC. Jason covers Chicago Bulls basketball at NBC Sports Chicago.

At the same time, Jason also hosts a sports podcast called The Full Go. He invites prominent basketball figures related to the Bulls as they perform the match analysis of the NBA team.

Similarly, Goff is a co-host of the NBC podcast Bulls Talk. He co-anchors the show with retired basketball players Will Purdue and Kendall Gill. 

Jason has been working at NBC for nearly four years since 2019. Previously, he was employed by CBS Radio as a host.

Goff joined CBS as a host/producer in May 2000. He was eventually promoted to talk show host in 2015. He worked for the radio channel for nearly 19 years.

Regarding his education, Jason graduated from Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois. He later attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale for his college degree. 

Immediately after graduating college, he was hired by WSCR, also called 670 The Score, to work as a producer.

Pia and Jason relationship came to light when they appeared together at a 2019 event. 

The two co-hosted “Bold Purpose: Mask Off Love Experience Co-ed Night!” alongside relationship guru Michael Wiley. Held on June 9, 2019, the event was organized by internet activist Alli Max and the brand Bold Purpose.

Holec and Goff have been secretive about their relationship from the start and rarely talk about their personal lives. While the pair has not opened up about their engagement, Pia has shared a picture of Jason and herself, displaying her engagement ring, on her private Instagram account which goes by @just_call_me_p.

Moreover, one of the few occasions, when the couple talked about their romance, was back in 2021. During an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, Jason mentioned Pia as “his lady.” He also added that Pia helped him with therapy when he had doubts about whether to host a podcast or not. 

The last time Goff shared a photo of Pia was on the occasion of Christmas in 2022. Captioned “Merry Goffmas,” the Instagram post featured his fiancee, son, and pet dogs.

Jason Has A Son From A Former Partner

Jason fathers a son named Jace Goff from a former relationship. Born on December 15, 2016, he is currently six years old.

Jace started attending kindergarten in August 2022. He enjoys going to school and wants to become an astronaut in the future. 

Similarly, Jason has also joked about Jace trying to take away his fiancee and job. On February 7, 2022, Jason shared a photo of the father-son duo from the Post Game Live Studio. The sports anchor claimed that Jace tried to convince Pia to marry him instead of his father. 

Jason further added that the 6-year-old tried to take his “gig” away from him.

Pia and Jason age difference is five years. Holec is currently 37 years old, whereas her partner is 42.

Pia was born in Illinois on September 4, 1985, according to Gossip Next Door. On the other hand, Jason was born in Evanston, Illinois, on August 8, 1980. 

Growing up in Illinois, Holec attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2003 to 2007. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  

Moreover, Pia received her Doctor of Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2015.

Pia Holec family includes her mother Denyce Ellis, her parents-in-law, and sister-in-law Shaina Goff Green.

Pia was born as the daughter of a social worker named Denyce Ellis. She works as a Social Service Program Planner IV for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Denyce has been involved with the Chicago-based government organization for over 26 years since February 1997. 

Ellis is a Belizean immigrant currently settled in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale for her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. For her Master’s education, she attended Aurora University and graduated with a Social Work degree in 2006. 

Jason hinted via an Instagram post shared in 2022 that Ellis raised Pia as a single mother. He also thanked his soon-to-be mother-in-law for bringing his partner into the world. 

Besides her mother, Pia is also close to Jason’s parents and his sister Shaina. Pia’s fiance Jason was born as the son of Bev Patnett Goff and Dedo Goff. 

Exploring his father’s Instagram, we came to know that Jason’s parents are no longer together. As of 2023, Dedo is in a relationship with a different woman, whose name is not yet disclosed. 

Meanwhile, Bev has turned deeply religious as she has found her faith. She is currently associated with the Belmopan Nazarene Church located in Illinois. 

Likewise, Goff also has a younger sister named Shaina Goff Greene. She was diagnosed with lupus disease in 2007. 

Shaina now raises awareness regarding the above-mentioned health condition and regularly does charity works.  She also works closely with the Lupus Society of Illinois and the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Talking about her love life, Greene got married to a hunk named Brandon Greene in September 2022. The wedding took place in Pia mother’s home country, ie, Hopkins, Belize. 

Despite not being together anymore, Jason’s dad and mom both attended Shaina’s wedding. While the sports anchor might have predicted the encounter to be messy and awkward, Dedo and Bev appeared comfortable with each other and even shared a few snaps together.

Dr. Holec is available on Instagram with over seven thousand followers. At the same time, the psychologist has also followed over a thousand accounts on the social networking platform. 

As per her Instagram bio, Pia is a multi-talented individual. The 37-year-old is a psychologist, s*x therapist, relationship guru, and public speaker. 

Holec joined Instagram over six years ago in February 2017. She has shared 177 posts at the time of this writing and mostly talks about her professional life and the show Married At First Sight [MAFS]. 

Moreover, Pia also has a secondary Instagram account, which goes by @just_call_me_p. However, compared to her primary profile, it only has a fraction of followers. 

The account currently has over a thousand followers but is kept private by the psychologist.

On the other hand, her partner Jason is relatively more popular on Instagram than the reality TV personality. His account, which goes by @jason1goff, has over 11k followers.
