Mark Pugh (born January 18, 1985) is an American professional wrestler best known as Mark Briscoe. He is currently signed with Ring of Honor. He held the ROH World Tag Team Championship with his brother Jay Briscoe 13 times and was a third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions.
When did Mark Briscoe lose his teeth?
Fifteen years ago in the fall of 2006, the ECW arena in Philadelphia was in the middle of a decade’s worth of name changes that lead to it, at the time, being known as Viking Hall.
It was at Viking Hall that the smaller Philly based Pro Wrestling Unplugged had planned to hold The Pitbulls/Public Enemy Tag Team Memorial Cup featuring hot 2006 indy teams such as The Maximos of SAT, The Rottweilers, and, you guessed it, The Briscoe Brothers.
In the opening round of the tournament, Jay and Mark found themselves matched up against The Krash Krew of Kwame and Gemini. Despite beating them and moving on in the tournament, they would not team together again that night.
By the time the second round began, Jay would be teaming with a replacement partner in BLK OUT’s Joker, and Mark would be elsewhere with far fewer teeth than he had when the event began.
