Her physician detected a 15-centimeter tumor that covers the entire uterus in one of her routine check-ups, as she stated on Instagram.
She was in the midst of hormone treatment to enhance artificial insemination at the time, and they had to halt it until cancer treatment was done.
It’s the second time in less than three years and she’s been in a similar situation. Marisa received successful surgery for cancer found after a gynecological test in 2018.
