A few days ago, a Reddit post titled ‘Kid at my school smashed my friend’s head with a chair and laughed about it’ was posted by woodreddit. The video shows the footage of a high schooler assaulting another high schooler with a chair.
The video got posted to the subreddit r/imatotalpieceofshit.
Maricopa High School Assault Chair Video On Reddit
In Maricopa High school, a kid assaulted his classmate in computer class with a chair right in front of the teacher.
The video footage of the assault abruptly starts with a high school student swinging down a chair over another student. The chair hits the back of his head with quite a loud sound.
The class gasps in shock, and the teacher tells the kid to put the chair down, which is still over his head. He would have probably swung it another time if not for the teacher.
The assailant replies, “tell him to move,” while the chair is still over his head. The victim student is down on the desk with his head over it, and he is probably unconscious from the blow.
A classmate in front of the downed student puts a protective hand behind his head, probably trying to gauge how severe the injury is while protecting him. The back of the head is one of the most sensitive areas of the body. A hard enough hit can leave permanent brain damage.
The teacher tells the assailant to put the chair down again, but more forcefully this time. “it’s not even funny.” The teacher says.
The assailant grins and says, “oh yeah… it is.”
After another shout from the teacher, the assailant pauses for a second. The student behind him takes the chair out of his hand immediately.
Is The Student Arrested?
The incident happened in Maricopa High school with one of its students attacking another. The victim student got checked by the Maricopa High school registered nurse, and he did not have any severe injuries.
Later, the victim student was sent back with his parent.
Maricopa Unified School District stated the administration was “addressing the incident, and appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken based on school discipline procedures and school district policy.”
The assailant got charged with aggravated assault.

Many parents have raised safety concerns regarding the recent attack done to a Maricopa High school student. The assailant was a classmate, and parents are worried about the safety of their children in the school.
There has been no news from the parents of the victim or assailant. While the parents of the victim have not spoken publicly, they are likely furious about the mistreatment of their child.
