A South Florida native, Maria Martin is an award-winning sports anchor and reporter who is currently employed at 11Alive in Atlanta, Ga since October 2019. A very successful journalist Maria has had extensive experience working at different broadcast stations. Previously she was working at WSFA 12 News in Montgomery, Alabama.

While employed at WSFA 12 News she had the privilege to work as a reporter in a sports-centric state. During her tenure at Montgomery, she won the title as AP Sports Anchor of the Year and ABBY Sports Anchor of the Year. A graduate from the University of Mississippi, Maria grew up loving the SEC.
