Marcus Picken: Who Is Liam Picken’s Brother?
Marcus Picken, an ex-Australian rules football player who played for the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League, was born on October 9, 1979.
Picken is the younger brother of former Western Bulldogs player Liam Picken, the son of former Collingwood great Billy Picken, and the cousin of former teammate and current Brisbane Lions captain Jonathan Brown.
He was chosen by Brisbane in the 1997 AFL draft after being recruited from the North Ballarat Rebels, and he made his debut in 1998.
Despite his limited opportunities, he was unable to make an impression.
Before suffering a stress fracture in his foot that prevented him from competing for a premiership, Picken participated in eight of the first nine rounds of the 2001 AFL season.
