Marcedes Lewis is arguably one of the most famous personalities in the world of American football. He began his career with the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (high school football team), from where he went on to play college football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
He began his professional career with the Jacksonville Jaguars after being selected in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He spent twelve years with the Jaguars before moving to the Green Bay Packers. During his college career, he was awarded Consensus by American Honors and was named one of the college’s top opponents.

Lewis was born on May 19, 1984 in Los Alamitos, California as Marcedes Alexis Lewis. Her mother’s name is Yvonne Snow, her father’s name is not known. He has three siblings namely Cody, Nikia and Ashley Withers.
Mercedes started playing American football at her high school, Long Beach Polytechnic High School, Long Beach, California. He was on the school team that played De La Salle of Concord, California in 2001 in a nationally televised game. Parade magazine and major recruiting services considered him a potential candidate.
After high school, Marcedes played college football for the UCLA Bruins football team (2002-2005). Throughout his college career, he appeared in 49 games, starting thirty-two times, holding the all-time record at UCLA and ranking 9th in home school rankings. In 2005, the young footballer won the John Mackey Award (given annually to the best player in college football) and was named a consensus first-team All-American, as well as a first-team All-Pacific-10.
Professional career
Marcedes Lewis began his NFL career in 2006 with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team drafted him in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. His college teammate Maurice Jones-Drew (running back) was also drafted by the Jaguars this season. In July, he signed a five-year contract with the team, worth $7.5 million, with a guarantee of $4.9 million.
Although at first he didn’t do well when he was able to catch, making 91 receptions in three seasons, but he impressed his coaches with his blocking power. Thus, during the 2008 NFL season, he was mainly used as a blocker. In 2010, he equaled his team’s single-season touchdown reception record and was named among those who will play in the Super Bowl, which happened to be his first Super Bowl.
Lewis then signed another five-year contract with the Jaguars in 2011 worth $35 million, with $17 million guaranteed. He renewed his contract in 2016, to stay with the team for three years. In November 2016, he suffered a calf injury in a game which kept him on the bench for some time.
In March 2018 he was released by the Jaguars after 12 seasons and in May 2018 he signed a $2.1 million contract with the Green Bay Packers to stay with the team for a year. The contract includes a signing bonus of $500,000.
The footballer has won numerous awards for his outstanding achievements including John Mackey Award (Best TE), Team USA, (2005), Pro Bowl (2011).
Marcedes Lewis girlfriend, family
Marcedes Lewis is unmarried and has never been married. However, he had a relationship with Olivia Pierson, one of the stars of the E! the channel’s ‘WAGS’ show.
The duo started dating in 2015 and had so many issues in their relationship. Olivia took the audacity to end the relationship in 2016 after accusing him of being sleazy. After she stopped talking with Lewis, she was romantically linked with basketball star Joel Embiid in 2017.

The two made headlines after Olivia posted a photo of herself and shirtless Joel cuddling up on Valentine’s Day. Embiid would later respond to this article by reposting it to his Instagram page with the hashtag “Fake News.” As for Marcedes Lewis, he has evolved in his life, but we do not know who we are currently meeting.
He has a daughter called Londyn Lewis from a previous relationship. A report, however, claims that he has two other children about whom he is silent. A son with porn star Savannah Stern whose real name is Kristen Grinnell and another daughter with her college sweetheart, Es Forbes.
