Early Life
Bandile Mbere and Banele Mbere (Major League DJz) were born in Boston, the United States, on January 3, 1991.
Mbere, their father, was South African Ambassador.
When they were still young, they relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa.
As a result of their father’s love for music, they were fortunate to be conversant with some genres of music as their father played them incessantly.
These genres include Gospel, Jazz, RnB, Hip Hop, and others.
Major League DJz‘s father, who is good with the piano, taught them how to use it, and they can both play it.

Major League DJz started their career as DJ and music Producer immediately after their secondary school education.
In 2006, they thought of advancing by making music on a professional level. This decision led them to be hosts of events and after-parties.
They have served as host of after-parties for famous individuals in the music industry, among which we have Fat Joe, 50 cent, and Akon, among others.
In late 2008, Bandile Mbere and Banele Mbere (Major League DJz) began to play, and in the process, they were able to create the music group – Major League DJz.
They have worked with other Disk Jockeys, including DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Roger Goode, DJ Trauma, DJ Drama, and DJ Woo Kid. They are widely known as the leader of the New Age Kwaito music.
They also anchor the event, Major League Gardens, which has been instrumental in bringing them into the limelight.
