Majid Michel (Actor) Biography

Majid Michel is a Ghanaian actor, producer television personality, model and philanthropist. He is also an ordained pastor.  In his line of work, he has received nominations for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2017. Majid eventually won the award in 2012 after three previous consecutive nominations.

Michael had his primary education at the St.Theresa Primary School in Accra Ghana and was well known for being an active member of the school’s drama team from the onset.

After his primary education, Majid subsequently went on to get his secondary education at one of the most prestigious schools in Ghana named the Mfantsipim School. A school that is famous for producing world-class renowned elites such as the former Secretary-General of the United Nations, Kofi Anna and his soon to be a future colleague and A- list actor Van Vicker.

University 

He later decided to further his education by enrolling at the University of Accra where he studied theater arts. One could say he managed to kill two birds with a single stone having developed his intellectual capacity while also working on his skills to increase his prospects as a successful actor in Ghana, and the whole world at sight.

During his stay at the University of Accra, Michel was quite famous for his dramatic acting skills, and he played important roles having been a member of various drama groups in the school.

Majid is one among seven sons of a Lebanese father; Michael Michel-Erawoc and a Ghanaian mother; Paulina Olympia. He grew up in Accra with his nine siblings: six brothers Sputnic Michel, Aro Michel, Isaac Michel, Michael Michel, Reggie Michel, and Shawki Michel and four sisters Roberta Michel, Juliette Michel, Isabella Michel, and Georgette Michel.
