MAFS star Duncan James sister has married her partner as a lesbian, and as such, she has started getting significant public attention.
The 36-year-old Duncan James joined the show Married at First Sight hoping to meet his future wife.
Duncan described that he was looking for women with emotional intelligence and confidence while also not lacking in any class. He also added that she had to be his best friend and lover in a relationship, and ultimately, he found someone.
Alyssa Barmonde and Duncan James hit it off instantly and had what they called a “magical wedding.” They both shared strong moral beliefs and solid values, so they seemed to be made for each other.
However, in the latter half of the show, Alyssa is displayed in a negative light.
The edited scenes highlighted her emotional reactions, how she treated her husband and her frequent use of ‘I have a child’ to justify her actions.
Then in March, everyone was left shocked as Duncan brutally dumped Alyssa at the final commitment ceremony, saying he didn’t want to be with her anymore.
After the split, Duncan started dating another MAFS co-star, Evelyn Ellis, which they officially confirmed in May 2023. He openly confessed that there was a strong connection between them, but they couldn’t act on it until the show was over.
But not many were surprised by this turn of events. Viewers had already speculated that they were in a romantic relationship as there had already been several signs pointing to that.
Now fans have turned their attention toward Duncan James sister, who recently got married.

Duncan James sister, Renee and Lauren, were born to Steve and Helen Simpson, who has been happily married for over 44 years, celebrating their anniversary on May 5 each year.
Steve turned 74 in April 2023. However, Helen’s age remains undetermined as of now.
Both sisters are older than Duncan, making him the youngest child in the family, but their exact age hasn’t been disclosed yet.
The only thing that has been made public is that Renee was born in late October, according to his Instagram post.
Everyone in the family has always been super close to each other, and as such, they significantly impacted how Duncan looks at women and relationships in general. As for work, Duncan has been a full-time regional cybersecurity manager for CSO Group since January 2020.
Moving on, Helen had worked for 27 years at Manly West Primary School before calling it quits, while Renee had previously worked on a superyacht known as Felix.
