Gwynne was arrested for breaking into his ex-girlfriend, Shelby Neubauer’s home. He kicked the door of her home after a party on Saturday night that spired out of control. Shelby and Matthew are an on-again-off-again couple.
As per the arrest warrant discovered by Scoop: Nashville, Gwynne, and Neubauer were at a party when things got out of control and resulted in a verbal argument. She warned him to go home, and he threatened to go to her house.
Neubauer got an email from her home security system, and she arrived home with a broken-down door and damage to the frame. The security doorbell cam caught Matthew kicking in the door.

Domestic Violence Charges Revealed
Shelby immediately called the police, and they issued a warrant for Gwynne’s arrest. He was arrested from a downtown bar on Sunday night after few people recognized him and were aware of his outstanding warrant.
Gwynne was charged with felony domestic vandalism. He was released on a $2,500 bond on November 1, 2021.
