For instance, You are a wide receiver of 88 ranks in week 5 of the second season and then you go to upgrade your player. It will change you to Running Back with 77 ranks. According to their note, “This fix is intended to prevent a random position-change for active and newly-created careers after the update; it will not update save files that have already been impacted because doing so could wipe out an active career in the original position save-slot.”

This clarifies that if you are already a franchise mode player and facing the problem then you cannot fix this but have to delete the saved files. But if you are a brand-new starter on the module you will not face any of such problems during your play. 

So basically, the problems of old users can not be fixed and they have to start a new career. Whereas the freshers can run in the game smoothly from now. 

They also claim to continue to monitor the problems in the live game and are prepared to provide users with handy assistance in future problems to come.

Other than this, several players tried various methods to try to fix the error but most of them didn’t succeed. Some have offered a temporary solution to the glitch which includes:

1. When you complete playing your WR or HB, you reach out to QB and then just close the Franchise without playing it. There you are. You can now play without a glitch repeating it every time. 
2. You can also verify the integrity of files of the game via the system and try playing it again. 
3. Reboot the game after clearing the cache. 
4. Restart the games by disabling Antiviruses and Window Firewalls. 

The solutions provided above may not be true for all users. The developers have already accepted that there is no fix for the old career users. This can be some of the solutions for those who don’t want to lose their current career and achievements in the game. 

But what is the point of trying to fix it when the developing team has already raised their hands from it? The better option is to have it deleted and start with a problem-free new career in the game.

A true admirer of the NFL will definitely have that patience as long as the EA is assuring no further glitches in the starter. There is for sure some preoccupancy regarding the faith in the updates, but let’s give it a try.

Changing positions in the Franchise of 23 series is quite easy which involves a few steps from clicking on changing roles to retiring and choosing new characters.

To Create a Player Position:

These steps are for those who want to create the player position at the beginning of their league or season for the first time.

Step-1: First choose whatever team you want to be in.

Step-2: Go to the “Change roles” option

Step-3: Choose the “Create Player” Option

Step-4: Choose the Position you want to play

Step-5: Then go to any of the picks. Either top, mid-round or anything you like. 

Step-6: Click “Accept” and “Continue”. 

Your player position is created. 

To Change Position in Madden 23 Face of the Franchise:

• Go to “options” on the left of the screen
• Choose the “retire” option at the bottom of the drop-down menu. [Note: You cannot retire if you are in the playoff or a certain part of the off-season. You need to be at the beginning of the season to retire]
• Click on the “Create New Character” option [Strict Note: Don’t click “Retire from the league” as your franchise will die completely in doing so]
• Click “Yes”

Your Previous player can still be in other roles. If you don’t want the player in another position then follow the following steps:

1. Click on “Change roles”
2. Click on “Players” 
3. Choose “Active Players”
4. Choose the role
5. Choose any picks 

This will not let your player be in other roles but rather assigns the role you choose.

Madden 23 Face of the Franchise story begins with a lot of complaints and suggestions from the Madden 23 players regarding how hectic it is to play in a slow-paced preamble. 

For the past three years before the launch of Madden 23, the players were forced to play at a slow rate facing minimal progression in the game. The players desired to go faster in the single-player mode.

Creating a Player: Build, Physique, and Position

Creating a player of competition is important work to do first as it shapes the overall performance of your career. Agile, Balanced, and Bruiser are the three body builds that you need to choose. 

You better know which build is best for what positions. Agile possesses speed, and agility and is capable of quick cuts. The build best fit in the cornerback, coverage linebacker, slot wide receiver, pass-catching running back, etc. 

Similarly, balanced has the combination of both speed and power and is best for quarterbacks and wide receivers. Likewise, Bruiser is power-oriented and exceeds in contact situations. These qualities are much needed in a Pass-rushing linebacker and power running back. 

Any position you choose, always remember you are playing for that position only. You will not be controlling other players. 

Selecting the Right Team 

Your creation of a player and selecting a team go hand-in-hand. You have to select the team according to the player and position you have created. 

The larger contract value and Rep and Cred bonuses might be confusing and distracting. But they are not an important part of building your career. You should always choose the team that best fits your position and are in desperate need of you. 

You should be picking the team with the best combination of players only then you can excel in your game. Choosing the team you like isn’t that bad but there must be some consideration while picking one if you really want to reach somewhere. 

For instance, if you are a running back you choose a team with a high-rated offensive line. Similarly, for quarterbacks, pick top-rated offensive weapons. Likewise, If you are a wide receiver, pick the one with high-rated quarterbacks, If a linebacker then a high-rated defensive line, and if a cornerback then a high-rated secondary. 

You are not allowed to choose a new team or request a trade when your contract period is running. So, choose your steps wisely.

To upgrade yourself you have to perform well during practice and games which will increase your skill points. You can also reset skill points and abilities, change your body physique, and more.

You can use these options to increase and reset your overall rating and perks in the game. You are always allowed to build and rebuild your player for better rating and ranking.

You can also improve your skill points by participating in the Yard. There you can earn additional points that will help your player to level up.
