Mac Miller, who goes by the original name of Malcolm McCormick, is a rapper from the United States. His net worth has been estimated to be $6 Million. Interestingly, he was previously known by the stage name of Easy Mac. He is sometimes also referred to as Larry Lovestein & The Velvet Revival, EZ Mac, and Larry Fisherman.
Miller’s wealth comes from his studio albums and EPs. He has released two albums – they are Blue Slide Park in 2011 and Watching Movies With The Sound Off in 2013. The EPs are On and On and Beyond in 2011, You in 2012, and Pink Slime in 2013. Pink Slime was released with Pharrell Williams. Miller is able to add to his wealth because of the tours he goes on all the time. Till now he has gone on four tours – The Incredibly Dope Tour, and the Blue Slide Park Tour, both in 2011, and the Macadelic Tour and Under the Influence of Music Tour in 2012. The last tour was with Wiz Khalifa. All his tours have been huge successes, thus boosting his fame and wealth. It is expected that Mac Miller will continue his tours in 2013 and beyond as well.
Mac Miller has courted controversies like some other celebrities. In February 2011, he and his friends were arrested while they were touring Upstate New York. The charge was possessing marijuana. As a result, all of them had to spend the night in jail. The case was however settled.
