Lynette Nusbacher is an American historian, military expert and author. She rose to popularity, not necessarily for her scientific work, but rather for her decision to transition from male to female. Lynette Nusbacher was born on December 17, 1966, in New York, United States of America as Aryeh Judah Schoen Nusbacher. She holds American nationality and belongs to the white Caucasian ethnicity. Nusbacher studied at the University of Toronto and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics in 1988. Thereafter, she went to the Royal Military College where she gained an in-depth knowledge of intelligence, management and earned a Master of Arts. in War Studies in 1994.
She went ahead to earn a PhD in Philosophy in Modern British History from the University of Oxford. She also attended the National School of Government and Cranfield University School of Management, where she studied Organizational Leadership.
Nusbacher worked at the University of Toronto as an Administrator from 1988 to 1994, she then worked for the Canadian Armed Forces as a Logistics Officer until 2000. She also held the position of Strategic Horizons Manager at the Cabinet Office in London, UK, before giving a lecture at the University. of Reading in Berkshire, UK. She was a lecturer in war strategies at the Royal Military Academy from 1999 to 2013.
From 2003 to 2005, Nusbacher made guest appearances in all episodes of the series on television’s Time Commanders as a military history expert.
In 2011, she started gaining recognition after creating a blog called “Nusbacher Associates” where she guides people through think tank to explore cyber technology and new technological opportunities for a better future.
