Lucille Ball Burial: Did Lucille Ball go to Desi Arnaz funeral?

Lucille Désirée Ball was an American actress, comedian, model, studio executive, and producer. Lucille was born on August 6, 1911, in Jamestown, New York, U.S. Lucille was born to Henry Durrell “Had” Ball (1887–1915), a lineman for Bell Telephone, and Désirée Evelyn “DeDe” Ball (1892–1977).

In 1940, Lucille met what many refer to as “Love at first sight”. She met Cuban-born bandleader Desi Arnaz while filming the Rodgers and Hart stage hit Too Many Girls. When they saw each other again on the second day, the two fell in love immediately.

The wonderful start to their love story seemed to have been faded. Ball filed for divorce in 1944, getting an interlocutory decree; however, Arnaz and she reconciled, which precluded the entry of a final decree.

On May 4, 1960, the love story finally ended; Arnaz and Ball remained friends and often spoke very fondly of each other until he died in 1986.
