Louise Harrison, the eldest sister of George Harrison, passed away at the age of 91.
Friends have recently disclosed on Facebook that Harrison passed away at a Florida nursing facility on Monday while getting hospice care, as tributes flood in for the elder sister of The Beatles star who personally hand-selected Liverpool Legends members.
Louise was renowned for supporting her younger brother as he rose to stardom and for assisting The Beatles in breaking into the American music scene.

Louise passed away on Monday “painlessly and sweetly,” according to Marty Scott, a member of the Beatles tribute group Liverpool Legends.
Before she passed away, Louise reportedly received care at a hospice in Florida.
“It’s really hard for me to get words out at the moment, but Lou meant the world to me. Since the day I met her my life was changed forever.
“It was just a few weeks after George passed and it started a whirlwind of change in my entire world.” Marty stated.
He added: “She’s been my family now for over 20 years. It’s hard to explain our relationship but at times she was truly my sister, sometimes my grandmother, sometimes my child, and sometimes my best friend.”
