When Louise French was a teen helping out at a grocery store, she first met her future husband Harold Harrison. In the Merchant Navy, he served as a steward. Before landing a regular job as a bus driver, he was fired and put on welfare.

Long before The Beatles launched a British “invasion” of America in 1964, Louise immigrated to the United States with her first husband more than 50 years ago. She relocated to Illinois with her first husband in the 1950s and spent the majority of her life there. Later, Louise moved to California.
