One of Naver Webtoon’s top cartoons, “Lookism,” has been adapted for a Netflix original anime.
Manhwas and webtoons are well-known Asian entertainment genres. Should also mention the great popularity of many productions based on these artistic marvels. Shim Kyu-hyuck
Sim Kyuhyuk, a voice actor from South Korea, provided the voice for Right Suzuki in the Power Rangers Train Force Korean version. As Netflix has not yet announced the casts of their respective voiceover roles, it is yet to disclose which character he has voiced for Lookism.
In 2010 he joined the voice acting department of Daewon Broadcasting, and in 2012 he started working independently.
Later, he and Sujin Kang would work together on the Korean dub of Spider-Man: Far From Home. For the live-action remake’s Korean dub, he replaced Sujin Kang in the role of Aladdin.
Nam Doh-hyeong
Voice actor Nam Doh-hyeong is from South Korea. He joined the Voice Acting Division of the Korean Broadcasting System at the age of 23, and soon after, he started working as a voice actor.
Shortly after, he made his acting debut in a supporting part in Robot Taekwon V, a 1976 South Korean animated film that has undergone digital restoration.
Nam took part in dubbing the action computer game Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space in 2003 before he began his career. As the winner of a game-related event at the time, he voiced one of the soldiers and the pilots.
Nam’s feature film debut was in 2013’s No Breathing. He played the part of a sports announcer in the movie’s first section. Fairy Tail was Nam’s breakthrough effort.
Jeong Jae-heon
Jeong Jae-heon is a voice actor and actor from South Korea. Jeong joined the Voice Acting Division of Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation in 2002. After working as a freelancer, Jeong briefly appeared as a television news reporter in the 2005 South Korean movie Quiz King.
One of the voice actor’s most notable performances was his dub of Kiyomaro Takamine for Zatch Bell! He also earned notoriety by taking over for Archie Kao and Adam Rodriguez on CSI: Miami and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, respectively.
Additionally, he is well-known for portraying Shota Kazehaya in the Korean version of the Japanese animated television series From Me to You, earning him the moniker Jeong-jae-ha-ya from many of his admirers.
Han Shin
South Korean voice actor Han Shin joined the cast of Thomas and the Royal Engine and the twenty-second through the twenty-third series’ Korean dubs. (With the exception of Digs and Discoveries) He played Professor Kukui in Pokémon the Series Sun & Moon and Iwabee Yuino in Boruto Naruto Next Generations.
His other notable works include Agents of Mayhem (2017), Yo-kai Watch (2018), and Dino Mecard the Movie: The Tinysaur Island (2019).
Ryu Seung-gone
South Korean voice actor Ryu Seung-gone performed the Korean translation of Ryuji Iwasaki in Power Rangers Go-Busters. In 2004 he joined the voice acting department of Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, and in 2007 he started working independently.
He is well-known for providing the voice of Yuma Tsukumo in the Korean dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal. He has a daughter with voice actress Bak Sin-hee, whom he is married to.
Hwang Chang-yung
The Eagle Ranger Jo Haneul (Yamato Kazakiri; played by Masaki Nakao) in the Korean-dubbed Power Rangers Animal Force was voiced by Hwang Chang-yeong in the original show Power Rangers Dino Force Brave (Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger).
When Will Lookism Be Available On Netflix? About Release Date
Netflix’s original anime Lookism is scheduled to debut on November 4th.

Lookism Anime Plot
Lookism revolves around Park Hyung Seok who is a high school student tormented and despised by his peers because of his weight. He is verbally abusive to his mother and requests a change of schools after being bullied and harassed daily by a juvenile.
He comes to Seoul with the intention of attending a new high school, deciding to leave his difficulties behind and start over. However, a few nights before he starts school, he is given a new body that is tall, athletic, and attractive. He can switch between bodies by arousing the sleeping one, which dozes off when one body is in use.
He divides his time between the two bodies, using the attractive one during the day and the original one at night. Daniel Park starts to realize how prejudiced society is toward persons who are deemed undesirable or unusual as he learns to live in two bodies.
His original body, generosity, and particular treatment of others are all targets of discrimination and hatred directed at him. He becomes a social media influencer, an entertainment industry trainee, and a clothing model thanks to his new body.
When Daniel returns to his biological body at night, his dream existence, however, transforms into a brutal reality.
