London Perrantes Bio – Ethnicity

London Perrantes’ full name was London Tyus. Perrantes attended school at Crespi Carmelite High School on October 3, 1994 in Los Angeles, California, to Karina and London Perrantes Sr. London, and met and was coached by Russell White. There he volunteered for Hoops for Home and the Crespi Carmelite High School Impact Program.

London Perrantes played with much older players than he did during high school and soon developed a signature calm and was conscious in his game, setting him apart and putting him on the radar of Washington State football player Nico Grasu. Nico Grasu drew the attention of university basketball coach Tony Bennett to the young player’s potential. However, Bennett was soon hired by Virginia and London Perrantes chose to go to Virginia to visit Bennett but also for higher academic level and the Atlantic Coast Conference.

To go to Virginia, London turned down Perrantes’ offer from USC, particularly after Kevin O’Neill was fired as coach. In fact, London played football as a freshman in the quarterback position in 2009/2010. He studied African American and African Studies. He soon took up basketball and as a senior he averaged 19.9 points and 5.8 assists per game.

The L.A. Daily News named him Player of the Year, and he was also ranked 86th on ESPN’s Top 100 Recruiters list for 2013. All of those accolades were worth it as he helped the Virginia Cavaliers men’s basketball team reach the NCAA’s Sweet 16 tournament in its first season. It was the first time the team had come this far in nineteen years. He started thirty-three games that season and shot 44% from behind the arc. He was able to record 5.5 points with 3.8 assists per game.

By his senior year, he was named 2nd-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference and ranked 2nd in the top 100 college players beaten solely by Grayson Allen. However, London Perrantes went undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft, instead signing a summer league contract with the Miami Heat. He was then signed with the San Antonio Spurs on August 23, 2017, but was released before the start of the season. At this point, London Perrantes signed a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the contract, he’ll split his time between playing for the Cavaliers and their NBA G League partner Canton Charge.

Family – parents, siblings

His parents, Karina and London Perrantes Sr. had three other sons; Isaiah, Darius and Malakia, all younger than London. London Perrantes Sr. and his wife introduced their son to the world of basketball from a young age. The two seem to be very proud of him despite very rarely seeing him as he grew up to pursue his basketball dreams. His father, who was his first coach, has spoken with pride about how his son has encountered a lot of things and kept working hard even when things aren’t perfect.

London Perrantes height

Like most basketball players, London Perrantes is blessed on the high side. He stands at six feet two inches and weighs 86 kg. On the basketball court in his guard position, he swings his lanky frame to the max.

London Perrante’s girlfriend
