Lisa Shaw was a famous British radio presenter and journalist based in Newcastle upon Tyne, who worked in both commercial radios and for the BBC.
Lisa Shaw passed away on May 21, 2021, at Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
Three months after her death, reports from the coroner say Lisa radio presenter died due to complications from the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.
Lisa Shaw suffered blood clots in the brain which ultimately led to her death.
Pathologist Tuomo Polvikoski had told the coroner how Ms. Shaw was fit and healthy before having the vaccine.
When asked about the underlying cause of the fatal clotting on her brain, Dr. Polvikoski said the clinical evidence “strongly supports the idea that it was, indeed, vaccine-induced”.
Deaths linked to the clots are even rarer. There have been 72 deaths in the UK after 24.8 million first doses and 23.9 million second doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
