The American writer and actress was born Elisabeth Anne Haapaniemi, born May 26, 1956 in Houston (Texas). His father was called Edmond Happaniemi; he was director of water safety services for the Red Cross, while his mother, Karin, was a nurse. We also know that Lisa has 5 brothers, but we don’t know if she has any sisters.
During her growing years, Lisa Niemi had interest in various activities which include swimming and acting. Later, she chose to act in the theater and she was admitted to the Alley Theater in 1967 at the age of 10. As her skills improved, she was offered offers to appear in television productions and her first screen appearance was in the sitcom., Two boys. Thereafter, Lisa turned to music and she enrolled in the Houston Music Theater. She then went to the Houston Ballet Dance Company where she completed her expert dance program in 1974.
