Lisa began her television news career in 2002 as KESQ’s morning show producer in Palm Springs. From there she went on to report for News 14 Carolina in Charlotte, and a year after that accepted a reporter position at KABC. She was promoted to weekend morning anchor in 2006.
While in Los Angeles, she covered a variety of stories including cartel violence at the border, disastrous wildfires and mudslides, and Michael Jackson’s memorial service that packed downtown LA. She also enjoyed reporting on the lighter side, including pre-show at the Academy Awards, three championship parades for the Lakers, and late nights/early mornings with the diehards camped out for Pasadena’s very own Rose Parade.
Now in Houston, Lisa’s up by 2 am to anchor weekday mornings! When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her husband, Joel, and their 3-year old daughter.
