Linda began his career at SABC, he would walk to the SABC every day until in late 1994 when SABC made a call out for freelancers to enroll in a course, TV and Radio Technicalities for Performers, for two weeks. In 1995 relocated to KwaZulu Natal and was called to do a 12 – 1 pm slot at Radio Maritzburg every Thursday. In February 1996 he got offered training for Ukhozi by the SABC. He began with the 12 – 5 AM in Ukhozi. In 1999 he was got the job full time doing the 12 – 3 pm slot. He was given the drive time slot until 2008. In 2008 he was given the morning show Vuka Mzanzi in 2000.
Linda quit Vuma FM on allegations that he was going to start his own online radio station, is said to have asked businessman Martin Lentsoane to lend him R100 000. Linda hAd promised to pay back the money on 25 October but Martin only gave him R10 000 because he didn’t trust him. Instead, the Magic Communications owner allegedly sent a message to Martin, telling him to stop sending his lawyer asking for money because he was planning on paying it back.
