Linda Larsen Local News 8 | Kifi
Larsen joined KIFI straight from college (Idaho University) as a reporter and news anchor. She worked there from 1986 to 1991 when she took a couple of decades off in order to raise her three lovely kids.
During that time, Larsen was still a part of the Local News 8 team as a fill-in anchor, reporter, and photographer. She especially loved all the time spent traveling to do Wednesday’s Child reports with Jay Hildebrandt. Being able to help place kids in loving homes is truly a highlight of her time at the station.
Local News 8 had been reaching out to Larsen during her hiatus to return to the station as an anchor. She finally agreed and has loved every minute of it ever since. She is thrilled to be back at KIFI/KIDK.
