Lina Medina got pregnant at the age of 5 years old. The person who impregnated her has not been identified yet.
She gave birth to a baby boy when she was five years 7 months, and 21 days old, on 14th May 1939. Given the abnormality of the case and her underdeveloped organs, medical had doubt about the health of the baby and the mother.
The baby was born through a cesarean section surgery and weighted ideally 2.7 kgs. He was named after the doctor, Gerrado, who helped her through the labor.
Lina was born to her parents Victoria Losea and Tiburelo Medina, on 23rd September 1933 in Peru.
Lina’s father, Tuburelo was a blacksmith while her mother, Victoria was a housewife. She was one of the nine children of the couple.
When her belly started growing abnormally, medical doctors on the surface speculated it to be a tumor but later found out that she was already 7 months old pregnant.
She was actually suffering from Precocious puberty. Her mother, Victoria revealed that Medina has been going through a normal periodic cycle since she was three years old.
Her sexual organs were already matured, and she even had developed breasts.
But besides her medical condition, poor Lina could have been either a victim of rape, incest, or something even more dreadful.
Her dad became the prime suspect who was accused of impregnating her own daughter. But was later released due to lack of evidence.
Next, her cousin with mental abnormalities was suspected but again, not enough evidence was found for the prosecution.
And till now, the identification of the perpetrator, who committed such heinous crime has not been found.

Lima lived with her spouse in a city in Peru, Little Chicago. She was said to be living a poor life. But she continued to refuse money in exchange for an interview as she didn’t want to revisit the incident.
She worked as a personal secretary at the Lima clinic of Dr. Lozada, who took it upon herself to educate her.
