The accident took place on December 25, 2021, and for the next three days, she was treated for her serious injuries and damages.
She lost her life on December 28, 2021, while the driver was allowed to roam freely.
This angered the disheartened parents who filed a case against such neglect.
The old case has recently resurfaced after a petition has been issued on change.org where people are upvoting for 15000 signatures.
The current status of the signed petition is at 12993 out of the target 15000 at the time of the writing of this article.
The petition also has noted three major points to be officiated.
This includes: suspending the license of DUI diver, raising the jail sentence for reckless drivers causing death to a minimum of 25 years, and permanent stoppage from driving again for those indicted drivers.
