Liam Gallagher confesses that he requires a double hip replacement due to arthritis, but would prefer to be in a wheelchair and pain. Learn more about his hip replacement surgery in the article below.
Liam Gallagher is a singer and songwriter. From 1991 until 2009, he was the lead vocalist and frontman of the rock band Oasis, and from 2009 to 2014, Liam was the frontman of the rock band Beady Eye, before embarking on a solo career in 2017.
Oasis’ lineup changed several times, but Gallagher and his older brother Noel remained the core members.
Why Is Liam Gallagher Rejecting Hip Replacement Surgery?
Liam Gallagher has arthritis as a result of a long-standing thyroid problem, and even though he realizes he’s taking a “ridiculous” stance, he’d rather take pills to make life bearable than face the “stigma” of surgery.
Liam’s hips aren’t the only thing bothering him; pain in his calves has prompted him to stop running on a daily basis, and he’s been getting acupuncture to assist.
According to the Mirror, Liam Gallagher said the “one in a million” probability of dying during the operation is too much. “However, I’m obviously on the decline,” he admitted. Because of the agony, I am unable to sleep. So I’m on natural sleeping pills, which have saved my life.
“I’d rather be in a wheelchair, with Debbie wheeling me around, like Little Britain,” Liam Gallagher stated.
Partner Debbie Gwyther Opinion On It
Debbie is a music manager and the eleven-year-younger girlfriend of ex-Oasis singer Liam Gallagher. Debbie’s opinion on Liam’s decision to refuse hip replacement surgery is unknown.
As a result, Debbie’s viewpoint is not available at this time, but it may be when she expresses her thoughts on her boyfriend’s refusal of hip replacement surgery.
After a term as an artist manager at the London agency Quest, Debbie started working as his personal assistant in 2013. She’d also worked in the public relations industry.
Liam and Nicole Appleton began dating in 2014, after Liam’s divorce from Nicole Appleton.
She was generally credited, including by Liam himself, with bringing Liam’s life back on track following the breakups of his bands and the shattered relationship with his brother Noel.
How Is Liam Gallagher Relationship With Brother Noel Gallagher?
Noel Gallagher is a singer, songwriter, and musician . He was a member of the rock band Oasis as a songwriter, lead guitarist, and co-lead vocalist.
He founded and became the lead vocalist, guitarist, and lyricist for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds after quitting Oasis in 2009.
Noel is the older brother of Liam Gallagher. During their years as bandmates, the Gallagher brothers had a notoriously tumultuous relationship.
The siblings fought over a variety of issues, leading concerts to be canceled or postponed, as well as accusing each other of some occurrences, most of which turned out to be false charges.
Even though their band disbanded over a decade ago, their hatred for one another hasn’t faded.
The Gallagher brothers appear to have accepted the fact that they live a life apart. While it’s always difficult to see former bandmates become strangers, it’s especially painful to see two brothers turn their backs on each other.
The only thing fans can hope for is for Liam and Noel to get down and hash things out if that is even feasible.
