‘LHHH’: Moniece Slaughter Details Son’s Comment About Wanting a ‘Normal Mom’

– Moniece Slaughter was not satisfied with how her appearance in the latest episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” was edited by VH1. The singer blasted the network in attempt to make it appear like she had a meltdown in front of her baby, Kamron, whom she shares with ex Lil Fizz, although it wasn’t exactly what happened.

I want to add [sic] to @vh1’s edit aka lie told to you guys tonight. I never mentioned on camera that I had a break down in front of my son,”I want to addres [sic] tonight’s edit aka lie told to you guys by @vh1. On camera I never said I had a break down in front of my son,”so she wrote. “I never said that ws the reason for my sons comment. The night I had the break down. My son was sleep upstairs in my bed. I watched a clip of the show and had a melt down based off the edit (I was already mid-swing of a depressive episode). And I locked myself in my laundry room so kam wouldn’t hear me crying. That’s when I called his dad for help.”

Moniece went on to say that for a totally different cause, the day when Kamron said, “I don’t understand why I can’t just have a normal mom,” arose in ‘a completely different week.” She said that it happened after she “was on the phone beefing with profuction over a separate edit that had already broadcast. It was Kamron attempting to speak to me. He might suggest that I have been depressed. He may have sensed that I was on the edge of being undone. He was sitting next to my dad on the sofa and that was when he said, ‘I don’t understand why I can’t just get a regular mom.’

“She added that she went upstairs later and “fell apart” before bringing her father inside. “[Her father] came up to get me. Hugged me. Yes. You assured me that he loved me. That inspired me. Let me realize that he was there for me in whatever role I figured Kamron and I were best for.

“Moniece revealed during the episode that when she reached out to Fizz when she had a meltdown, but he denied her help. “I contacted him and it was like,’ Call me, please, it’s an emergency.’ But he didn’t text back so I called, he didn’t respond. And I lowered my ego literally, let go of dignity, and I called Apryl [Jones] in tears, like, ‘Can you please bring Dreux on the phone? ‘And she was like,’ All right, he is right here.”

He was like, “What’s going on?” ‘And I’m in tears, because I was like,’ I don’t know what’s going on, but I do know that this week I may need your support because I don’t know whether I’m going to be able to make it through Kamron’s week,’ she added.
“This has mixed reactions online from individuals. Some suggested that Moniece get help with one saying, “Depression/anxiety is so possible.. “I hope she gets the help she needs.” Someone else told her to “please go see a counselor,” while another user wrote “Girl just leave the show,” on Instagram.
