Leslie Toldo NBC 25
Leslie took on weekend weather, general assignment position at WJTV in Jackson, MS, then landed weekend weather, GA gig at WKBD in Detroit. While she was there, she completed a three-year broadcast meteorology program through Mississippi State University.
Eventually, Leslie became the full-time medial reporter at WKBD and earned an Emmy nod for her work. She also completed the Second City School of Improv program in Detroit. Finally, Leslie moved to Mid-Michigan, at WJRT, where she started as a weekend co-anchor/meteorologist.
Within a year she was named 4 pm meteorologist and medical reporter. During her time at WJRT, Leslie received an Emmy nomination for her reporting.
