Lee Rodarte, who confessed to the 2017 killing of 21 years old Savannah Gold, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Thursday.
He dumped her body in a Westside pond. Lee was in a relationship with Savanah before he killed her.

When the murder of Savannah was investigated, Lee admitted that he killed his coworker at the Bonefish Grill in self-defense.
Savannah was reported missing on August 2. In the meantime, her family member received a message that she was leaving town for a while.
Her brother received the text which says that she is going to living her boyfriend. However, the message says that she has run away with her boyfriend.
In this case, her boyfriend was caught by police, who claimed that he killed her in self-defense. First of all, she attacked her.
Recently surveillance footage has been retrieved, which shows that Gold was seen parking her car on August 2, 2017, around 5.30 pm. Despite going to a restaurant, she got into the passenger seat of Lee’s car. After 15 minutes, it was seen that Rodarte got out of the car, reached out to Gold’s car. He returned to his car and drove away. However, the Gold has never seen leaving out the car.
Lee was proved guilty and sentenced to prison for 40 years.
