Leandro Barbosa, also known as Leandrinho Barbosa, is a former professional basketball player from Brazil who now works as an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
He was born on November 28, 1982.He also played for the senior national basketball team of Brazil. Prior to this, he won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2007 with the Suns and an NBA title in 2015 with Golden State. Due to his playing pace, he was given the moniker “The Brazilian Blur” in the United States and the nickname “Leandrinho” Barbosa in Brazil. Barbosa and Dwayne Jones were exchanged for Hedo Türkolu by the Toronto Raptors on July 14, 2010. Barbosa declared his departure from the world of professional basketball on September 14, 2020.
