Laz Alonso Avatar

He portrayed Tsu’tey in Avatar. Tsu’tey te Rongloa Ateyitan was the Omaticaya clan’s finest warrior. After the death of Eytukan, the clan leader, he was Olo’eyktan himself from August 20-22, 2154. Along with Jake Sully, Tsu’tey lead the Na’vi against the RDA forces in the Assault on the Tree of Souls. He was mortally wounded by a machine gunner during the battle after valiantly dispatching several RDA soldiers and was granted a merciful death at his request by Jake.

Tsu’tey was born in the Omaticaya clan, as the son of Ateyo. At a young age, Tsu’tey was chosen by the clan’s Olo’eyktan, Eytukan, and the Tsahìk, Mo’ at, to become the future mate of their youngest daughter, Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). Together, they were to succeed in her parents as the leaders of the clan. Tsu’tey had proven to be the finest warrior of the clan, becoming the leader of the clan’s hunters.

During Omaticaya hunter training day exercises, Tsu’tey and his students found and captured Jake Sully. At Neytiri’s insistence, Jake was brought before Eytukan and Mo’ at who, following an inspection, decided that Jake would be taught the Na’ vi ways. Tsu’tey felt hostility towards Jake from the moment they first met in the jungles of Pandora, and his anger only grew as he realized that Jake and Neytiri were falling in love.

After learning that Jake had mated with Neytiri, Tsu’tey was outraged and attempted to kill him. Jake managed to subdue him, but, while trying to reveal his true mission to the Omaticaya, Colonel Quaritch disengaged Jake from his link chamber. As Jake’s unconscious avatar fell to the ground, Tsu’tey attempted to kill Jake a second time while reminding the clan that Jake was a “demon in a false body”. Neytiri defended Jake’s avatar and forced Tsu’tey away from him. After the sacred Trees of Voices were destroyed by the RDA, Tsu’tey, on behalf of Eytukan, avenged the loss by leading a war party into a successful attack on multiple RDA bulldozers and their armed human escorts.

He and Jake led more than 2,000 Na’ vi warriors into battle. During the assault, Tsu’tey was fatally wounded when he boarded the Valkyrie shuttle in an attempt to halt its bombing run. Maiming or killing SecOps personnel single-handedly, he was shot at point-blank range and fell from the shuttle to the forest below. After the battle had ended in victory for the Na’vi, he was found bleeding heavily by a group of surviving Na’ vi warriors who brought Jake and Neytiri to him. Tsu’tey, knowing that his death was imminent, passed on leadership of the Omaticaya clan to Jake before making him draw his knife and demanding that he end his suffering.

Jake refused, but Tsu’tey proudly reassured him that he would be remembered because Jake, as Toruk Makto, would be his last shadow. He showed his respect for Jake by calling him a brother. Reluctantly, Jake granted Tsu’tey his last request and mercifully killed him. Jake then recited a prayer for Tsu’tey, wishing his spirit to become one with Eywa as Neytiri and the other warriors looked on in grief.

Breakout Kings is an American drama television series that aired on the A&E network. It is a production of Fox 21. The series was created, written, and executive-produced by Nick Santora and Matt Olmstead, who previously worked together on Prison Break. Peter Chernin, Katherine Pope, and Gavin Hood also served as executive producers.

Breakout Kings cast

  • Laz Alonso portrays Charlie Duchamp, a Deputy U.S. Marshal and head of the task force. He comes from the Department of Criminal Program Analysis and was assigned to a desk job for six years because of a congenital heart defect. He is under a great deal of pressure to produce results since any failures in the task force would have led to his being permanently placed on desk work. In the season two premiere episode “An Unjust Death”, Chief Inspector Craig Renner offers Charlie a promotion, but he turns it down for the sake of the team. He is killed by fugitive Damian Fontleroy near the end of the episode.
  • Domenick Lombardozzi portrays Ray Zancanelli, a former Deputy U.S. Marshal who lost his job after he was convicted of stealing money from a crime scene to buy his daughter a car. This information is originally kept a secret from the other convicts until Shea (see below) overhears Charlie discussing it with Ray. He appears to be able to relate better with the convicts than Charlie because he has been in a position similar to theirs. Ray is on parole throughout season one, living at a halfway house, and has been appointed a Special Deputy U.S. Marshal. As such, he is allowed to carry a firearm, unlike the convicts. Ray is divorced but maintains a good relationship with his daughter. Prior to his conviction, he came up with the idea for the task force. After Charlie’s death, Chief Director Wendell reinstates Ray to his former position, having promised to do so if Charlie accepted a promotion.
  • Malcolm Goodwin portrays Shea Daniels, a former gang leader whose criminal enterprises (drug smuggling, weapons trafficking, etc.) covered most of the United States. His experience and “street smarts” allow him to provide a working knowledge of how convicts think and move. He originally comes up with the name “Breakout Kings” for the task force and designs a graffiti-style logo for it. In the Season 1 episode “One for the Money”, he tells his girlfriend Vanessa that he cannot wait for another six years to get out of prison to be with her and that there is another way, but Vanessa replies, “We can’t be fugitives again.”
  • Serinda Swan portrays Erica Reed, a bounty hunter, and an expert tracker. She was raised by her father, who himself was a bounty hunter. He was tortured and killed in retaliation for the capture of a gang member, and Erica hunted down and killed five of the six people involved in the murder. Barely 20 at the time, she killed her victims and hid their bodies so flawlessly that she was only convicted of weapons charges. She has a daughter who currently resides with the child’s father but she has little to no contact with her, despite her desire to be more involved with her. The murder of her father and the loss of her daughter causes her great pain and anger. In season two, she shows a romantic interest in a neighbor Pete Gillies who works on the second floor of their building. She even sleeps with him on some occasions without the team knowing about it. She has proven to be an excellent athlete as well. In season 2 episode 7 she takes down a man three times her size after he insulted her father before the man could get a hit on her.
